Google reCAPTCHA | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi Daan,

Great plugin! Thanks!

One thing I’ve come across is that when there’s a Google reCaptcha on the page/site the plugin doesn’t change that font (Roboto) to locally hosted, and there is still a fonts.gstatic look up for that font.

To circumvent I tried hiding the reCaptcha badge, but it still brings in the font from Google. I also tired using Roboto on some of the text on the page, and OMGF does it’s job and makes that font locally hosted, but then there’s still a fonts.gstatic look up for the reCaptcha text.

So the only solution I’ve found is removing the reCaptcha altogether, which is not ideal either.

Just wondering if there is anyway that OMGF could also effect the reCaptcha font lookup. Or have you come across any other solutions you could share?

(I believe this is also the case for YouTube videos embedded directly on the website as well as Google Ads.)

Thanks again!
