Hi all, me and my friend recently built a website and we tried to change the meta title and description of the homepage.. Now searching on google, there are 2 different search results with difference meta titles and descriptions are coming up of the ‘same page’ (homepage).
(I think this problem emerged after I resubmited the Homepage only for reindexing because the meta title and description change wasnt showing up!)
How can we solve this issue?
I tried clearing the cache of wordpress and my browser. I also tried resubmitting the sitemap url on google search console.
(Additional information:
We used Rank math SEO plugin and changed the meta title and description from there.)
