Google stating there is a link on my site that I can’t find

[ad_1] [www.SignParrot.com])

Google is disallowing ads to be run to the site stating that there is a malicious link somewhere. They won’t tell me where. The link DID exist for < 24 hours because our hosting lapsed prior to migrating to a new server. We have migrated and the site is live, but they’re still pointing to this link. I’ve run a query on the entire database looking for the link and done a site: [signparrot.com]) link search on Google. I even had my team search the page source for every page on the site looking for it. Is there a way to search all files and fields for a specific string of text?

  1. I use a free app called EasyFind on Mac to brute force search the contents of code files. It has settings which allow you to point at a directory and crawl search all included files, with an option to also search for matches within files.

Separately, have you submitted a request through Google’s “remove outdated content” tool, to clear their cache for the offending page?
