I’m a beginner / intermediate WordPress guy running our small business. Please forgive me if this question is misplaced.
We bought The7 theme with WPBakery included a few years ago. Our site runs ok and looks good and I find the page building easy and a good match for my skill set. But I’m learning it may not be as efficient / fast / well optimized as it can be.
My question is: There are three difference places that custom CSS can be used and it’s not at all clear to me which one is best practice. The7, WPBakery, or a combination?
1. WPBakery Page Builder Settings > Custom CSS
2. The7 sidebar “Additional CSS”
3. The7 Theme Options > Advanced > Custom CSS
I decided to just pick one and chose the 3rd option, The7 Advanced > Custom CSS. I have no idea if this is the best one to use or if it’s the least expensive in terms of CSS calls on page load.
Any advice, directional or specific, is much appreciated.
