It must be someting really simple, like a toggle, because one moment everything is there and the next moment it’s gone.
And the block menu at the top of the block, like Paragraph, Bold, Allign is now at the top of the page!?
And when you press Escape above the blocks you want to edit a black field or thingy appears with a paragraph symbol where you normally can select Bold, Allign etc.
