After avoiding the G-word forever, I think I need to come to grips with learning it (though I’ve wanted to pull my hair out every time I’ve tried).
Background: I have a small web design agency that has been building websites for other small businesses over the past 7 years. We primarily use our own vanilla theme and ACF. Our clients love ACF in their backend because it’s so easy for them to make updates themselves.
On the flip side, fellow developers say we’re doing a disservice to our clients not using Gutenberg when developing their sites because it’s lighter and supposedly better.
Admittedly I feel like I’m between a rock and a hard place here but that said, I’m committed to getting a handle on Gutenberg so I can make a more informed decision.
So- can anyone recommend some good tutorials or reading for this journey?
Many thanks! xo

You can use ACF with Gutenberg. All the docs are on the ACF website.
There are so many if you google this.
But here…
fullsiteediting.com and Bill Erickson’s tutorials helped me get a solid handle on what’s possible with Gutenberg. Hint: anything. Anything is possible.
