Hi,

For the past few days, I have seen a lot of IP trying to access parts of my website that are not public resulting in a lot of 503 and 403 errors and weighting on my website performances. I have installed CloudFlare and enabled the Bot Fight Mode function which stopped some attacks but there are still quite a lot showing up. What should I do? Thanks a lot.

  1. Do you have Fail2ban set up on your server?
    Have you tried adding WAF rules in Cloudflare to apply stricter challengers to the affected parts of your site?
    Try using Cloudflare to block the ASNs of the bots that are targeting your site?

  2. How are the non-public pages defined as non-public? What makes them accessible to only certain people. Could those pages be listed in your sitemap? What’s your site url?
