Having issues with hosting fonts locally with Elementor

[ad_1]

In my global settings, my site’s default text and accent font family is called “Basic Commercial”. I found a .WOFF2 file which I then converted into the other formats using Cloud Convert. It’s working fine on my desktop but when I view the site on my phone it looks very strange, there is certainly something wrong with it.

I suspect that the file format used for desktop browsers is different than the one used by Safari on mobile. How can I have the font display properly, is the problem with Cloud Convert?

I am especially confused by this because I did the same thing with my primary and secondary header’s font family. I found a single .WOFF2 file, converted it into all the other formats, and ran into no issues

I will provide some screenshots here, please look at the highlighted text |[Deskptop view]), seems normal |[mobile browser]), looks messed up
