Having trouble Restoring Site from Backup

[ad_1]

Hello Everyone,

My company\`s site has been down and upon inspection via dashboard, the php and wordpress version was old. My company\` staff updated the php version to latest one from host site but wordpress was still showing older php and same error all over dashboard. When trying to update plugins and themes it gave error, as it says “Cannot update…destination couldnt be found..” I logged in to cpanel and found out, themes and plugins folder had plugin name but all of them was [empty. It]) may have been happened due to trying to update the plugin on older php or older wordpress version.

I do have all in one migration backup file which is about 6 gb, but its of 3 years ago. But I do also have latest backup of database so it contains latest post and all.

However I am having trouble restoring the site from backup.

First of all, I am trying to do it locally via Xampp.

Setup the environment and Downloaded the fresh installation of wordpress, and only imported the database from backup. Local site doesnt respond as it gives error regarding `Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_magic_quotes_gpc() in /`

I just wanted t see the posts and all before installing plugins and themes.

I then uploaded the backup file to wp-content to allinonebackup folder but the limit to restore only says 512 mb.

Is there a way to just restore posts and contents from database backup only?
