I’ve recently taken over an ecom store, I’m trying to add two sub categories to the main “Shop” (listed as sculptures) category so that when the user hovers over the “sculpture” menu item at the top, they are able to see a drop down for A and B. A and B are both product categories with products in them, and they are both nested below “sculpture” in THE PLACE, I can even see in Chrome DevTools > Elements that the 2 subcategories are there.
I’ve turned off all plugins apart from 3 that break the site if turned off:
Advanced Custom Fields PRO
mobble
WooCommerce
And also tried switching to the theme Twenty Twenty two as suggested in WP forum – this theme doesn’t seem to support drop downs as all the sub category items are pushed to the top level in this view.
I’m an ecom dev by trade but very new to this platform, looking like ill have to roll my sleeves up with the code, anyone got any ideas on where to start? or other less invasive things to try first?
Any help would he super appreciated! The question in the forum is here:[https://wordpress.org/support/topic/sub-menu-drop-down-not-appearing-on-hover/#post-16216261])
