newassets.hcaptcha.com is not built in to WooCommerce core – I believe it’s coming from this plugin: hCaptcha for WP
Can you try temporarily disabling the hCaptcha for WP plugin and see if this resolves the Checkout issue? If not, can you please clarify what exactly is happening on the checkout page? If a screenshot helps, please share one with us here.

Also, please can you share the following:
- System Status Report: you can find this via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.
- Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs

Hello thank you for the update – I am NOT using that plugin – which was why I was asking if it was part of WOO core – as it seems to have appeared – however after further digging it seems that STRIPE does use it and its coming from STRIPE themselves so I am speaking to them
