Hello!
I have a fully running website with shop for a client. The selling goes great and they love it. Me and a friend are inserting some changes and improving the SEO in several sections: from pages descriptions and contents, from image titles and so on.
We do have an issue, tough: product categories' titles, the shopping cart and other menu types are all using the H2 heading type.
While on a regular page and post we try to use several heading types sparingly for SEO purposes, we can't seem to do that in a store frontpage, because there is no place to set-up the heading type for the menu texts and product category titles.
Is this something we should be concerned about, for the sake of SEO? There are a ton of H2 headings in every product category, we just would like to know if headings affect the SEO only in posts and pages, or in the WooCommerce pages too. Each category has a description text before and after the products, so that is covered.
