Hello everyone,
I’m currently developing a website for a language school. On the site, users can purchase courses via WooCommerce, which are then assigned to LearnDash. I am looking to integrate the BuddyBoss plugin with its original theme into my site. However, I’m encountering some challenges and would appreciate your help.
Here’s the setup:
• E-commerce: WooCommerce
• LMS: LearnDash
• Community Plugin: BuddyBoss with its original theme
• Site Theme: Hello Elementor
Challenges:
1. User Registration and Login: I want users to be able to create an account via the WooCommerce registration form. Once the account is created, they should also be logged into the BuddyBoss community and have access to their courses through the integration between the plugins.
2. Theme Integration: I need BuddyBoss to use its original theme for the community pages, but I’m concerned about potential conflicts with the Hello Elementor theme that I’m using for the rest of the site.Potential Solution:
I considered creating a subdomain where BuddyBoss would be installed separately. However, I’m unsure how to ensure cooperation between the main domain and the subdomain. Specifically, I need to ensure that when a user creates an account and then navigates to the subdomain, they still have access to their courses and remain logged into their profile.
Specific Questions:
• How can I set up the user registration so that users who sign up through WooCommerce are automatically logged into the BuddyBoss community and have access to their LearnDash courses?
• Is it possible to ensure that BuddyBoss uses its original theme for the community pages while the rest of the site continues to use the Hello Elementor theme? If so, how can this be achieved without causing conflicts?
• If using a subdomain is a viable solution, is there a way to ensure seamless login and course access between the main domain and the subdomain?I appreciate any guidance or solutions you can provide to help me resolve these issues. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
