Hello! so I am new to wordpress so I don’t have much knowledge on how it works, but I am interning for a company and helping them with their client website. So they gave me the link and username and pass to log in from, but I don’t see the same options as them. Please help, thank you!

  1. You are probably no Admin. If you need more capabilities, you have to contact someone with admin rights.

  2. They gave you an account with limited capabilities. You will need to ask an admin to change your user role or give you the permissions you need to edit the website fully.

  3. Learn about WordPress before you ask for admin rights to a production system. If you are just learning, you can make a local development copy of the production site and work with Lando/Docker or Local to experiment and learn.
