Help

Hey, I was asked by a friend to do some work on his webpage, they say its managed in wordpress. How do I get statred? Where do I need to log in to add some article and change the layup? The site is already running but the person managing it left them hanging. I used to do some tinkering a few years back but I forgoten everything. Any help would be welcome.
