I’m trying to add one large high-resolution art file (18MB, JPG) on my website for download, but when I upload the it into the media library, it’s greatly reduced in size and the end user would end up with a lesser quality file.
I'm a light WP user, so I'm looking for the easiest and quickest solution.

Link to the “Full” version of the file. The one without the -000×000.jpg suffix, as shown in your media library. Click the Copy URL button in the media library.
zip the file and then upload it – problem solved “for download”
