I originally built my site on Wix but recently rebuilt it on WP. I successfully transferred the domain over to WP and published the site but when I view the site, I get an error screen (see screenshot).
I checked the “use [Wordpress.com](https://Wordpress.com) name servers box but I’m still getting the error. I’m 99% sure I need to update the DNS records but I’m not a developer so I’m kinda lost.
I’m attaching screenshots so you can see what I mean. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you need to edit the DNS records to point to your new host. You should be able to get the necessary details from the control panel of your new web hosting account. If you contact your new web host’s support they should be able to help you out.
If you’re using WordPress.com then contact their support. They are your hosting company and therefore the ones better suited to provide assistance to you.
Although if you’re yet to build a site I’d recommend not using WordPress.com at all (see the pinned post on the differences between WordPress.org and wordpress.com).
The domain uses the right nameservers, but the DNS records should also be pointing to WordPress.com.
Those DNS records you have there don’t seem to be pointing to WordPress.com. You can reset the DNS records to make them point to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/#default-records
If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend contacting their support so they can help you set them up.
