HELP! I’ve been editing a website for a company and I screwed it up and can’t fix it

[ad_1]

Their website is on WordPress. I added two plugins ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and CPT (Custom Post Types). I was only beginning to test it out. Once I realized it screwed up the website I deleted what I created in the ACF and CPT UIs and deactivated the plugins and even deleted them but now I get this error:**Fatal error**: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function the\_field() in /home/kz5tstib5xjl/public\_html/wp-content/themes/(removed company name)/header.php:31Is anyone able to please help???

  1. Honestly, in your situation, I would just get in touch with the hosting company and ask for a backup restore to before you touch the thing and call it a day.

This is why a staging site is recommended when doing work on a site.
