Hello Reddit,
I have a website that I am having trouble logging into. My username is an email account that I no longer have access to so I am no longer able to use it to retrieve the password reset link.
I have access to the admin @ [websitename.com]) gmail account and can prove that I am paying for the hosting with my own CC. WordPress no customer service to reach out to so I do not know how to gain access.

First things first.
Do you have service through WordPress.com or are using the software WordPress found at WordPress.org?
If the first, then you do need to contact them for support.
For the second, you need to contact whoever you are paying for hosting.
If you used Softaculous for your installation
Login to your cpanel
Go to Softaculous click on the installation scroll down you’ll see details about your site just click the eye to reveal your password
If you have access to the hosting account and are comfortable using phpmyadmin you can reset the admin password from the users table. Identify which database the site is using by checking the wp-config.php file.
You can also update the site admin email address from cPanel and do a password reset but again requires some technical know how.
