Help me Revive Yoast & Wordfence after a Malware attack on my site

[ad_1]

My site got a malware attack with unknown themes and posts installed due to elementor outdated plugin. From then, My Yoast is glitched and not showing any options as in this image

I’m sure that it is due to malware. However, it is not the case for wordfence. I have installed Wordfence recently and trying to run a complete scan. However, It cannot complete the scan and gets terminated in middle. I tried increasing the space in Wordfence settings too. Doesn’t help.

Can you suggest me where should I look to find the errors in these plugins to solve it? Thanks in Advance

  1. If you have recent backup we suggest that you use it to recover your website from there. Good luck.

  2. I’d recommend that you manually replace the files with all new copies. So basically, remove everything except your database, then place all new core, theme and plugin files from freshly downloaded copies. Then reconnect your wp-config to the database and go from there. If your versions aren’t too far off, you may be ok but otherwise you may need to download specific versions of each plugin/theme and the core files. Check it first.
