Help moving site to a new domain

Maybe you can help me. Let me try to explain:

I have two websites:

WebsiteX that is outdated under the domainX

WebsiteY that is new under the temp domainY where I worked

I wish to move all the content of WebsiteY to domainX
For that, I already changed the site URL in the wordpress admin on WebsiteY to domainX and did a backup of the database.

I tried the Cpanel option “Restore a Home Directory Backup” to replace all files from X to Y, but I notice that all the folders/files appear from both accounts. I just want to appear the WebsiteY files.

What’s the best way to do this?

I’m thinking of the following options:

1- Create a new Cpanel account with the same domainX and move all the files to there.

2- If option 1 is not possible because we can’t use the same domain, maybe edit the domain name of the old account and create a new one.

3- If options 1 and 2 are not possible, maybe edit the domain name of the old account and use the same domain in the new account changing the domain name.

4- If all options above are not possible, terminate the account of domainX to create a new account and move all the files to there.

Or is there any better option?
