Help needed: “Deprecated” lines, do I need to worry? – total neophyte here

[Wordpress.com](https://Wordpress.com) questions

I wanted to delete all the work I’d done and start over. It seems that in Hostgator, there isn’t a simple way to do this. I did some research (apparently not enough), downloaded a plug-in, and then got the white screen of death. I could still use my dashboard, but called Hostgator to get it all back up and running.

It seemed to go back to what I had before. I deleted the theme and then reinstalled it. All of my pages and information were still. I purged the cache. It’s all still there. As I try to make changes, I’ll periodically get a few lines of “Deprecated” code. Before I work on my site further, I have three questions….

1) Is there any simple way to delete the theme and start FRESH? Meaning all headings, content, media, and anything else taken away, as though I’ve just signed up and listed my domain into my Hostgator WordPress login? Any way to get it to revert to where it had the suggested plug-ins preinstalled. like one would reset a cell phone to factory settings?

2) If I can’t do this, what’s the next best course of action so I don’t keep running into Deprecated lines of code? Do I need to call Hostgator again? I am not a coder and don’t want to mess with any back end settings. I’m solely trying to set up a personal website with a few pages (no posts).

3) I tried deleting all of my pages and Adding a Page for each one, but now they don’t show up in the header as they did initially. How do i fix this?
