Help with exact layout

[ad_1]

New to WordPress but I've been a graphic designer for 10 years. Basically I've been mocking up a really good website I want. I have it designed in Photoshop as a rough layout idea but I'm having trouble translating it to WordPress. I've watched a few videos and they basically say it doesn't matter which theme you use because you can alter it any way you want. Which is true to a certain extent I guess, I want something far more detailed though. Is there a way to get this header style from my Photoshop into my WordPress site? It's basically a straight black header but my logo is in the middle and shapes around as if it's part of it. I am using Variations theme.

I know it's possible as I've seen tons of sites like this. Maybe they are using premium themes or something though.

  1. I used to do this 12 years ago so your posts gave me nostalgia. Let me put out the steps for you:

    1. Find a theme that matches your design. You have to carefully select it. I’d recommend SeedProd or Divi. Both of them come with hundreds of themes and are website builders as well.

    2. Once you have a theme similar to your design, you can keep your design at a side and then start making your site.

    3. You can upload cut outs. Like background, buttons, etc. And use them.

    4. With basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, you can get the exact same design.

I’d also recommend checking out free resources like WPBeginner for help.
