Hoasting media on my WP site

[ad_1]

Hi, Dear Friends!

I want to host some small images that are part of a newsletter I send out on my WP site. I UL to the media library and then copy the links. Fine. But I want the URL that points to these pics to be exclusively HTPPS and not just HTTP. But the link that WP gives me to these files is without the secure s and if I add I manually it returns an error. How can I link using the HTPPS protocol?

Thank you, and have a good day!

  1. To make sure your image URLs use HTTPS, you need to check a couple of things. First, make sure your WordPress site is set up to use HTTPS. Go to **Settings > General** and ensure both the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) start with `https://`.

If your site is set up correctly but images still show `http`, try regenerating your image URLs. You can use a plugin like **Really Simple SSL** which helps handle HTTPS across your site and can fix mixed content issues.

And, you can use Padlocker as well to implement HTTPS.

Also, make sure your hosting provider supports HTTPS and that you have an SSL certificate installed. Once everything is set up, your media links should automatically use HTTPS.
