Are you logged in as an admin user? Or your theme doesn’t use a traditional home page.
You have a lot of pages in your trash. Perhaps it’s there.
What theme are you using?
Under the Homepage settings are you customizing which page is set as the homepage?
It might not be a piece of content by default. It might be showing a list of content, depending on your theme
