Homepage embed displays wrong | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Whenever I link to the homepage of my website, like just title.tld, it embeds to twitter/discord with a title/tagline/image that I cannot change. I noticed this problem last year on my website but it hasn’t been a major problem for me until migrating and rebranding my website’s name.

the intended look is like this, and every page seems to use it:

but if I link to the domain it embeds with something completely different and I cannot find where it is getting this exact tagline since it’s not used anywhere else. It’s also using an older image instead of the new one.

I’ve tried uninstalling & reinstalling yoast, and using the test helper plugin to reset a few things, but all the old stuff is still stuck there! I’m really hoping I’m just blind and missing a certain entry field where this information is stored. I am relatively noobish at web work stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated.
