Homepage keeps showing other pages?

Hi I’m doing a project on WordPress and using the free version (and no, I will not upgrade my plan. This is for a project not actual use). I’m trying to create a e-commerce site.

I made my home/front as a page. Set it to be my homepage in the settings. However, when I make another part of the website (another page), for example a FAQ page, it keeps showing the homepage at the beginning and adding the FAQ at the bottom.

I don’t understand how to separate the homepage from my other pages.
