Hi,
After installing a backup to a new subdirectory, I can’t get my homepage back online. I have installed the site to that directory, copied index.php and .htaccess from that dit to the root and edit index.php so that the new dir is before calling wp-blog-header.php. In the backend I’ve changed the wordpress-url, kept the site-url. Have done this multiple times before, without any problem.
Other pages in this site do work. When I try to enter the homepage, it puts the subdirectory-name in the url and the page isn’t available. Tried to change the homepage, but that doesn’t make a difference. Did the installation again, tried another theme, disabled all the plugins, all without result.
Has anyone an idea what can cause this problem?
