How can I add a separate page for my newsletter?

[ad_1]

I hope I can explain this clearly. I would like to create a separate, standalone static page for the newsletter.

So when people click on the Newsletter in the Menu, the domain name looks like this:

newsletter.nameofthewebsite(dot)com/subscribe

So I guess I am asking two questions:

1. How can I add a page where the newsletter part in the domain name appears before my actual domain name?
2. How can I add and design a separate, static page, with a form? For example, do services like Mailerlite offer a way to do this? I think it needs to be connected with them so that it works automatically.

Thanks so much!

  1. I won’t speak to a system to import your newsletter. Others may have more insight about which plugin would work best for you.

But I will explain how to accomplish the URL format that you are trying to achieve. The format [newsletter.website.com]) is using a subdomain. In other words a completely separate website. You create a subdomain in the DNS (domain name server) and point it to a different location from the main website.

I had to scroll pretty deep to find this generic tutorial since most of the information is provided by hosting services and how to do it on their platform. If you plan to do this follow the instructions provided by your host. I hope this helps:
