Hello @atlantis1525,
Thank you for reaching out with the details of the challenges you’re facing while trying to update the WooCommerce database. It’s concerning to hear that the database version remains on 8.8.3 despite your efforts to trigger the update.
Did you create a separate thread with us to seek assistance with this issue previously? Could you please share the thread link to check what troubleshooting steps have been suggested already?
Have you tried manually updating the database from WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database? Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.
If you’ve explored these options and still find that a downgrade is necessary, you can use the WP Rollback plugin to downgrade to the earlier version.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks!
I tried the update method you mentioned. Under the title I opened on a different topic, my friends detected the database incompatibility and made suggestions. I shared the latest error files and cront events screenshots, but they did not respond.
Updated the database by manually deleting all events and updated it to the new version. Thank you and you can close this topic.
Glad to know you were able to update the DB by deleting all pending events @atlantis1525.
If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review: https://projectdmc.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
Cheers.
