How can I get rid of empty space at the bottom of my header

Working on a website, beta.siliconcritics.com. I have the header pretty much the way I want it, but for some reason there’s a block of empty space below the links and logo. I’ve tried margin: 0px !important; but that doesn’t change anything. How can I fix this?
