How can I hide my wp site plugins from others?

Hello, I am using woocommerce wordpress, I wanted to know How can I hide all my site plugins and themes, from detection tools like wp theme detecter and similar ones?
I have heard of plugin "hide my wp ghost" or "hide my wp" , but have also heard that these plugins might break your site in some case. So, Is there another way to do this, or if these plugins would work fine anyway?
Please help and share your insights.
