How can I make a background overlap between the header and body? (Astra Pro/Gutenberg)

Forgive the probably dumb question, but I just can’t seem to figure this out. I have a kitchen background that we’d like to go right up to the top of the page (or up to the above header, anyway) on the homepage.

At first I thought about splitting the image in two and making the top part the header background, but that seems a little messy?

I’m using Astra’s header builder, but I played around in the Astra Page Headers addon, dropped the kitchen image in as the background image, clicked merge page header with site header, and set a rule to only display on the front page. That got it to look basically how I wanted, but since the whole thing counted as a huge header I couldn’t drop any page content in over the middle/bottom of the kitchen image.

So I just went back to a white header background for the moment. Is there anything I can do?
