How can I make sure that images are aligned to bottom?

I’m trying to force the images inside the Latest Posts on my home page to align to the bottom.

The issue becomes noticeable if the title of one post is longer than the others.

I’m using the **Simple Custom CSS** plugin to tweak the code. I was able to tweak the margins between the date and the title, but I can’t find a way to make sure that the images are always aligned to the bottom.
