How can I optimise my images without affecting GIFs?

[ad_1]

Hello! I’m making my first website-portfolio and in the main page I have a gallery made with Elementor that shows my photographs. There are 30 pics approximately and 4 gifs that I have animated.

The Web takes like 5 min to load in desktop and doesn’t even try to load on mobile.

I’ve tried image optimisation but I’m afraid if they reduce the images size, they’ll also reduce the gifs and they won’t appear animated anymore.

Is there any way (plugin maybe) to optimize the images leaving the GIFs on full size?

Thanks everyone for your help

  1. Convert your gifs to webm and get lazy loading set up using something like smush or wp rocket
