How do clients edit their pages? Page made up of posts in the back end.

I saw this wp website yesterday. The guy who owns it edits the page by changing the content of certain preset posts, which then shows up on the website. The site seems to be stitched together from all these preset posts. How is this done?

Also, these posts only contain like 3 field each, they pretty much look like forms with instructions like “insert youtube link here and it will embed the video in the first section of your page”. How is this functionality achieved?

  1. Probably ACF, and it sounds like a badly built ACF site. It almost reeks of the un knowledgeable client demanding it be broken down like that.

    Even vanilla Gutenberg has eclipsed functionality like that now, have you tried it out?
