I’m trying to make a blog site, where I can have custom looking posts instead of the usual “add a title, paste text, add several images, add a featured image, publish.” I’d like to have different layouts per post with different kinds of elements kind of like with regular pages (counters, comparison charts, custom text, separate containers, sliders, icons, etc.), while being able to post them under categories, and with tags. Are “custom post types” what I’m looking for? Is there an easy way to enable them with Elementor and Astra, or maybe even Elementor Pro and Astra or Hello theme?
