How do I duplicate a WordPress website into a purely static HTML without WordPress files?

[ad_1]

Hi. I know this may seem straightforward, but I tried googling this to no avail.

I currently have a simple website that I made in WordPress. I need to convert it to HTML. As in, as purely old school HTML code as possible.

The website is fairly simple and only has a couple pages of static information and 2-3 picture libraries.

I’m an amateur and have no websites/coding background. I tried using plugins and though it exports the pages as static HTML, I’m still getting all the WordPress folders and I’d like to avoid having any references to WordPress.

Please let me know what is the most efficient way I can do this? If all else fails, I’m open to having to redo the website, but since I have no experience, is there any app/tool that allows me to build drag-and-drop HTML websites for free, without watermarks or anything extra in the code?

TIA!
