How do I get my Homepage to show on my url, instead of the template page?

Hi, I’m not new to WordPress, but I’m new to Gutenverse. It generally seems to be really easy to use except for the homepage.
I have created a homepage that I want using the Zeever template. It’s saved in my Pages as home – Front Page.
However, I go to my url and it shows the the Zeever template page with none of my changes.
When I click View from my page, it opens up the unedited template.
I’ve been to Settings>Reading>Your homepage displays>A static post – Homepage=home

Can anyone tell me where I’m going wrong please? Thanks
