How should I go about getting my wordpress site locally to my PC from the cPanel active site?
So during development I made the site with laragon but somewhere along the way I started making changes just to the uploaded, active website. I added a lot of plug ins and used the customize theme wordpress area a lot. This was due to laziness. Needless to say thats a lesson learned and I’ll never do it again. I have lost the laragon install at some point and it would probably not work the same as when I left it a long time ago whilst under development. What is an easy way of cloning it to my local pc? I do see a clone wordpress plugin but I’m under the impression I need the database active and then I would be able to clone it? I would also have to disable my captcha on the site for awhile while that is being cloned, at least thats the problem I ran into earlier with that. Is that the only way?
I have access to all the files through my cPanel web host.
So how do I NOT have to install everything again manually? (Like create database locally, upload theme, plug-ins, php files etc.)
