I have a legal website where I have written hundreds of long-form legal articles. They bring in most of my business. Apart from copying, pasting and emailing myself all the articles, how can I best preserve a copy of the content that I’ve published?

What are you trying to do, archive the site? Move it to another platform? Convert it to simple text docs you can store elsewhere? Well need more info before we can give any insights.
A backup plug-in works. There are a good few of them, but I often just make them with the all in one migration plug-in, because I have the pro version.
Curious how do the articles bring your firm business. Are you linking them elsewhere and that’s what’s drawing people to your site? Or just having them on your site and nothing else?
