Hi,
I have extended fields for some post types (e.g. LearnDash courses, lessons, and topics).
For some reason, the extended fields for courses have disappeared. I can go to a backup of the site and the fields are there in the backup, but they don’t exist on the production side.
When I try to add them back in, I get a failure notice stating the field can’t be added because it already exists.
For example “featured_video” used to be an extended field in Courses, but now PODS just shows a blank field group. When I then try to create the field “featured_video” it fails with the message that the field already exists so it can’t be created.
This is not happening with all post types. For example, LearnDash lessons and topics still have their extended fields showing in the fields group.
I just wanted to document this and tell you that I used the PODS > Settings > Pods Tools to repair the affected Pods and it worked great! All the fields came back 🙂
Thank you for the thought to put that repair tool in there!
