I can’t seem to get rid of this area when I’m editing this. I can add content to it but it persists even after I delete everything there. I can’t touch it on Elementor either. I’ve tried using WordPress editor instead and deleting the code that was for the content there only to find no result. Any advice? I’m very new to WordPress.
If it helps, I did not build this website from scratch, it was created a few years ago with a custom theme, I am just editing it now for a new look.

Its classnames are ‘bnr_wrpr bg_img p_r’ – so it sounds like it’s part of the banner section.
However, the CSS for that section is contained in the custom.css file in the theme (which appears to be custom coded), so that looks like whoever built the site custom coded that in on purpose. Best if you ask them.
