The shortcode uses the id of the current post by default. If you need to show star ratings for another post, you will have to pass an id.
E.g.
[kk-star-ratings id="123"]
Make sure you also allow the location in the plugin settings, general tab. In your case, archives, if that’s where you are showing it.
