How do you guys credit image sources?

I'm new to WordPress and Blogging in general, so I thought I could get some advice here.

Personally, I use Captions (only for Gallery's though, because they don't work on single images for some reason?)

On single images I just write below it in a small font, but it doesn't look very nice.

Now, for the actual crediting process, I feel like it goes on too long, maybe… so I was hoping to get some advice here.

This is pretty much what my process looks like.

IMAGE:
Image credit: X (Page – Y, as depicted in Z)

X being the site, Y being the exact page, and Z being it's source material.

Is this the best way to go about it? Or is there a more efficient way?…
