How do you guys insert multiple images in a blog post fast?

I have started blogging consistently on my wordpress blog and I find the whole process of inserting images in a post (sometimes upto 10 images or more) very cumbersome.

This is the process I follow currently –

1. Go to the section where i want to add image in the gutenberg editor using "Add before" / "add after"
2. Then click on image
3. lets me browse image from my system
4. click on an image and then click on upload and it takes me to the media center after uploading.
5. then i add description, alt tags, caption etc.
6. then it takes me back to the post
7. then i align it

overall, the process is quite cumbersome and not smooth. I've blogged before on Medium and there I remember, it wasn't this cumbersome.

Is there a way to make this easier? What process do you guys follow?
