For a few years now I’ve been writing movie / tv show reviews and news for my website/blog. Now that I’m switching server and changing theme / design I was thinking about integrating more information about the movies and series I’m reviewing. Therefore I came across a few themes with build-in imdb database and some plugins with the same option to build a database on your site. But I’m wondering if these are really legal since you’ll be using their work for free. Or is there any other database plugin for something different than imdb which does the same job, but as a royalty free or commercial free use? (or maybe a paid service that’s legal?). I’m going to have a few ad-banners and affiliate links in my reviews (to get the server costs running), so maybe my website/blog counts as a commercial use? I don’t know. Maybe someone can help me out in this case.
