I’m constantly receiving spam and cold calls in my contact form. It’s super irritating because my form is for potential clients only, not for random people telling me they can help me with my website. There’s one guy in particular who fills out the form once or twice a month telling me he can help me improve my site and I can’t tell if it’s a bot or not. I tried emailing him twice telling him that I wasn’t interested in his services but he keeps filling out the form every month regardless. Is there a way I can keep salespeople out of my contact form?

Depending on your form builder you could ban its IP (not recommended as the IP could change) or its email. Another alternative if your form builder doesn’t support banning of emails could be to create a conditional email that send the email only if the address is not the one that you want to ignore.
