I’m new to this sub, though not so new to WordPress. I’ll get right to what I’m asking.
I run a Pet Sitting, walking, grooming, training and taxi services business.
The one thing I DREADED was blogging…everything about it really. Writing them, ensuring SEO quality, scheduling, posting to social media etc…on that note, I’m not entirely sure how we’ll ChatGPT is with SEO which is an area I am only now deep diving into which brought me to this sub. I’ve been using Yoast, but it’s so confusing to me with so many little options or needs I knew nothing about. This sub taught me it is indeed bloated, and mostly disliked. Today, I’m going to give TSF a try as it seems to be a favorite, minimalist, yet very effective.
Anyway, at 1st, after getting tired of doing all of the blogging myself…I then went the traditional route of hiring blog writers from Fiverr, then manually handling the rest. Which still was too painful.
Now though, after learning how to effectively use ChatGPT, I have what I feel is a great, painless, greatly automated process in place.
That said, I am curious to learn how some of you are managing this given so many of you have far more experience, even managing this for hundreds of websites. Wow!
The process I’ve come up with using ChatGPT-4, Google Sheets, GPT for Sheets, and Pabbly
is as follows:
1. Gen months worth of topics with ChatGPT-4
2. Gen posts themselves using those topics with ChatGPT-4
3. Export post to GSheets using GPT for Sheets plugin
4. Locate, or purchase, or design featured images
5. Store them, add links to Gsheets
6. Gsheets to Pabbly
7. Pabbly to WordPress
8. Pabbly to social media accounts.
The only processes that takes any length of time are 4 and 5, tough 4, can be pretty fun since I like graphic design. I would prefer having an AI app generating these too but have not been able to find such a service. Every AI image generator I’ve tried, the dogs or cats it produces look alien like haha. Ever AI social media ad generator I’ve tried, their templates are severely lacking for my industry, and generally not impressive.
Have you found ways or tools to help with this?
BTW: For those who don’t know, Pabbly is a WONDERFUL Zapier alternative. Zapier used to have a free tier though don’t anymore while Pabbly does and promises to keep it that way. Their prices are better too. They also have 1000s of great integrations.
I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH PABBLY AT ALL…I only found them 2 weeks ago and it’s been a great experience so far.
This far, I’m really liking my process for the simple reasons that it’s extremely low cost, and very little work involved so I can spend my time and finances on other parts of the business.
I’m only now beginning to use a very similar process for social media and email ad campaigns.
So…please tell us how you prefer to manage your blogs and social media, along with the reasons why!
I would absolutely love to read your stories. Maybe even learn some new ways that I would enjoy.
