Im an angular/.net developer ( 1 y/e) and ive recently started freelancing on upwork, i saw that there are waay more wordpress jobs there than .net jobs, so i already knew some stuff about wordpress and elementor and ive done 3 jobs on there so far!
I know that if i want to get more clients and more high paying ones i need to know JavaScript and php for wordpress, i already know javascript as ive been working with angular for a year now, but i havent touched any php
How much php do i need to know to fix wordpress sites, create themes, create plugins etc for wordpress? To be a well rounded WP dev?
Ive heard from many people that i only need the basic data structures and just to learn the syntax, its nowhere near as much as u need to know .net to become a developer! And given my 1 year of experience with angular and .net, they told me i can learn the basics of php for wordpress development in a week!
What do you guys think? Im open to different opinions and suggestions!
